That I get to write, and get paid for it, still feels like a huge victory even a year on. Terribly grateful for it.

My delight is recently compounded in a big way by the addition to the Tonic.com line up of the comic art of Keith Knight. I have been a fan of his work for well over a decade, I think he is among today's very best: deceptively simple but fingerprint-unique line style; the social and political insight of a member of the faculty; often laugh out loud, mess-yerself funny; and sometimes deeply poignant.

To have my stuff and his sharing space on the same platform is inescapably huge for me.
